Chef Myra Latif on Asian Food Channel

Salam...

Hello guys!!!
Pagi2 lagi dah jadi baby sitters. Jaga baby besar and baby kecik.. :D
Baby besar is abah.. Haha.. And baby kecik is Afif..
Coz mak keluar, ada hal... Btw, I did a good job! Hoho!!
Kemas rumah, buat susu untuk abah sampai abah cirit-birit. Hehe..
Mana aku tahu mak dah bagi abah minum Anlene before keluar..
Then mandikan Afif, bagi nestum, cebuk yak dia and sumbat macam2 makanan dalam mulut dia. Heeee...

Then, tugas aku sebagai seorang "chef" pun bermula.. Yeeehhaaa!!

Tak sia2 aku beli barang2 semalam..
Dua resepi aku buat hari ni.... Itulah gunanya tengok AFC..
The recipes was taken from French Food at Home.. Best!!
Simple, easy and nice!!

Resipi pertama yang aku buat is Moelleux au Chocolat..

Wah... Nama pun class kan. Hehe.... Simple gila resipi ni...
Kalau simple aku buat la.. Kalau yang leceh2 nak cari bahan ni, malas lah aku...
Ini aku modified.. Sepatutnya kena guna cup kecil tapi takde.. So buat besar sudah..
Silalah cuba ya..

Ingredients

Cakes

  • 4 ounces dark chocolate
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour

Caramel Sauce

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 100 millilitres cream (1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons)
  • Squirt lemon juice, to taste

Directions

Cakes

  1. Butter six ramekins, line with a disk of parchment, then butter the parchment. Very gently melt the chocolate and butter together over a water bath. Beat the eggs and sugar until thick, pale, and ribbony. Beat in the flour, and finally the chocolate mixture. Pour into the ramekins and chill.
  2. Just before serving, heat the oven to 400°F/200°C. Place the moulds on a baking sheet and bake until the top is set, 12 to 14 minutes. Remove. Let sit five minutes, before unmoulding onto plates. Serve with caramel sauce or a scoop of ice cream.

Caramel Sauce

  1. Add a spoonful of water to the sugar and boil to caramel, about 5 minutes. (Be careful not to let it get too dark.) Stir in the butter to melt, then the cream. Add a squirt of lemon juice to taste.
Resepi kedua yang aku buat Craggy Chocolate Cake..

Again.. Simple juga.. Berbaloi2 aku buat...
Macam Chef betul2 dah ha... Rancangan untuk 30 minit... :D
Tapi aku buat berejam2!
Ni dia bahan2 dia..

Ingredients

  • 200g chocolate, chopped
  • 200g butter, softened
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 200g sugar

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F/190°C. Line with parchment, grease, and flour an 8-inch/22 cm springform pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate gently over a water bath, then beat in the butter a piece at a time until smooth. In a separate bowl, beat the yolks with half the sugar until thick, pale, and ribbony. In yet another bowl, beat the whites to peaks. Scatter over the remaining sugar and beat to a stiff meringue.
  3. Slowly whisk the chocolate mixture into the yolk mixture. Stir in a spoonful of egg white, then pour the chocolate mixture over the egg whites and gently fold together with a spatula. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake 50 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven. Run a knife around the outside edge, then let sit until cool. It will sink down and the top will crack, appealingly. Serve with a drift of slightly sweetened whipped cream, flavoured with vanilla, rum, or orange flower water.
Okay, done!! Selamat menikmati gambar ye!!
Nak buat sendiri.. :D

Hari ni tak jadi pergi UIA. Malas...
Esok pergi ambil GL...
And nak buat sesuatu esok but I need somebody's favour.. Hurm??

Okay la, Nak sambung tengok bola yang macam hampeh tu. Haha!! Night guys!!

XOXO
